Move In day went smoothly, HUGE shout out to the track and field folks that were like a small army moving stuff up the stairs and to the dorms in the canyon.... my daughters foot locker was heavy and my Alice pack weighed in at 76 pounds and the yound adult tossed it on his back and hoofed it up to the second story.only to return 3 minutes later to grab another load of stuff
14k steps later I decided i can skip legs day for a bit
Daughter is so excited to finally be moved…

HSU is offering free rides for students on HSU's Homeward Bound Bus, thanks to expanded funding for Basic Needs.
The bus makes stops in San Francisco and Los Angeles and is intended to provide transportation to students who would not otherwise be able to afford to travel. For Fall break, the bus leaves campus on November 20 and returns on November 27. Sign-ups go live on November 8th at 6:00 p.m. and are on a first come, first…

A bit disappointed that only 30-40% of classes will be in-person for HSU in Fall 2021 according to the press release. It sounds like a repeat of Fall 2020....those classes were only for specialized art, oceanography and a few other majors. I actually think some of the other CSUs will have more in-person/hybrid classes, and even today February 10 the CSU Chancellor announced "over 50%". Based on new guidance provided today by the California State University system, Humboldt State University will continue offering most courses in a virtual format for Spring 2021.
